Our annual Hopkins songwriting contest is underway and this year our theme is “No Limits”. 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students are encouraged to write a song/rap over one of the beats below with a positive theme about having “No Limits”.
Students can enlist the help of parents, siblings, etc. but the song must apply to the theme “No Limits” and must have a minimum of two verses (three preferred) and a chorus. The last day to turn in your original song to Mr. Brooks is Wednesday, November 30th 2016. Many will enter but only one will win. Mr. Brooks will record the winner singing/rapping their song and will create a music video starring the winning student. To see past winner’s videos please look under the Songwriting tab at some of the past year’s song winners.
